Factors Science

A student-led initiative out of the University of Toronto, we aim to promote Open Science principles and practice within the field of human factors and ergonomics.


Reading Group

Currently open to registered students at the University of Toronto, this group meets monthly to discuss current literature in human factors and ergonomics. Discussions will prompt students to engage with how authors have incorporated Open Science in their work or how incorporating Open Science could strengthen their work.

Open Usability Workshop

How could publishing data openly advance the science of usability?

We are currently recruiting for usability experts in the Greater Toronto Area region to participate in a workshop to discuss open data in usability science.

Eligibility

  • Expertise in usability
  • Willing to travel to the University of Toronto St. George campus

Participants will be offered an honorarium of 300 CAD.
